Rise Of The Tomb Raider PS4 Gets PSVR Support, New Story & Modes; Releases October 11
Square Enix has just announced that Rise of the Tomb Raider will release on October 11thursday for PS4. The Ultimate Rise of the Tomb Raider experience adds PSVR support and will feature tons of additional content.
Before this week we already reported that Rising of the Tomb Raider was likely to release for PS4 this October, although this rumor hadn't been officially confirmed.
The official Square Enix press release reads equally follows:
Ascent of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration will include the laurels-winningRise of the Tomb Raider® game, a completely new story affiliate entitled "Claret Ties", new co-op Endurance gameplay, PlayStation VR support for "Blood Ties", all of the previously released DLC, more outfits, weapons, and Trek Cards. The Limited Edition of the game will also feature a express edition art volume.
With the exception of VR support, all of the new content inAscension of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Commemoration will also be bachelor for Xbox One and PC players. Electric current Season Laissez passer owners on Xbox I and PC will automatically receive the content for free, and moving forward the existing Season Pass volition be updated to include the new content. There is no Flavour Pass on PlayStation 4, every bit all of the content is included in the initial release.

According to Crystal Dynamics studio caput, Ron Rosenberg, the 20th anniversary of Tomb Raider "provided the perfect opportunity for us to deliver a new Tomb Raider experience. With the addition of PlayStation VR support, yous tin can play the world through Lara's optics for the first fourth dimension in franchise history."
